Happy #winewednesday! This week, we wanted to highlight this Patricia Green Cellars Chehalem Mountain Vineyard Pinot Noir. 🍷
Patricia Green was a guiding light and an inspiration for many in the Oregon winemaking community. Patty’s dedication to single-vineyard and single-plot expressions paved the way for a greater understanding of terroir in the Willamette Valley.
This bottling, the Chehalem Mountain Vineyard, takes its roots from the legendary Dick Erath, who planted what would be known as the ‘Erath Clone’ in the 1970’s. These plants, originally cloned from cuttings taken from the famed Clos Vougeot in Burgundy, have some of the oldest and most esteemed lineage in the Willamette Valley.
All of that to say, we are so proud to offer this phenomenal Pinot Noir by the bottle.
